Found an online article from Feb 06 when Good Night and Good Luck opened in England, entitled 'Why the actress only takes meaty roles'- so that has been added to the articles section.
High res rotation changed once again today...
New photo in the specials gallery. My thanks to Derek, a long time fan who met his favourite actress while in NYC to see a play, and lucked out because Patti was there to see it as well.

Five more photo's added to the High Res Rotations.
Five photo's added to a new section in the gallery; High Res Rotations. Mycah has sent me so many that for space and bandwidth reasons, I need to rotate them! Once I've added some more, expect the rotation to change once a week or so...

I stumbled across a blog on Live Journal belonging to Lori who very kindly agreed I could use her photo and then pointed me in the direction of the two friends she went with, who turned out to be just as lovely and generous and like Lori, sent me the actual photo's to use. So my thanks go not only to her, but also to R.Tchen and Amy.
If you want to find out who else they managed to see, and want to know which stars stop and which don't, check out their journals for a very entertaining read and lots and lots more photo's.
Mycah has very kindly sent me a scan from Vanity Fair; the Tom Ford's Hollywood special edition - it's now added to the gallery.

Welcome to the re-opening... and stand by for some very exciting news!
There are a few minor changes still to make and a splash page to finish, but other than that, its business as usual once again.
I hope you like the new look, and I have to give much of the credit and a BIG thank you to the wonderful Tea who not only coded my site so it would validate and be viewable in all browsers, but offered help and suggestions along the way during my revamp. I really cannot thank her enough!
Thought it time I touched base, so to speak. Patti is now in Canada filming Marriage, the site revamp is going really well, and I leave you with two reviews of The Woods that are full of praise for both the film and Patti's performance :-) One review here and another here
This is just a heads-up - don't expect many updates for a time because I'm busy working on a new look to the site and am on holiday soon, too. I will however try to add any breaking or important news ASAP!
A server move is on the cards too, so the site will have a new look, a new host and also a new name, details of which will be posted here in due course. While the move should go smoothly, it's possibe some or all the gallery photo's could be lost, so if you've always meant to download some and never got round to it now would be a good time, since with so many new ones to add, I probably wouldn't add them all back again!
All for now - stay tuned :-)
All the King's Men receives its world premiere with the honour of a Gala Presentation at this year's 31st Toronto International Film Festival which runs from Sept 7th to 16th. Website for info, tickets, etc is here.

Fantastic news at long, long last about The Woods! It's out on DVD very soon! In Germany, anyway, though further investigation makes it look good for worldwide too! Details and DVD cover can be found here though in German.
A translation via the web doesn't exaclty make sense when you try to do so, so big thanks to Jenny for translating it for me. In short, the release date is still shaky and this release has no extra's due to it being a rental version. It's in various languages and with various subtitles - it's unknown if the subs will be burnt on or can be removed.
Next stop in the quest for info and confirmation was Poperratic where nothing was mentioned but a mail from Jaye, Lucky's musician friend, confirmed it was coming out on DVD and Lucky had been sent a different cover for it. As they didn't expect this to be announced so soon, she had yet to report it on her site news. So fingers crossed we can all get to see it finally!
It's apparently been playing a few festivals worldwide and if you want to see it on the big screen rather than on DVD, it's going to next play at The Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal

Added one photo from 'The Devil Wears Prada' post screening auction to benefit various causes, from May 23rd. The next day saw Patti at the 'Stage Door' Opening Night After Party. Photo's taken then are exclusive to one well known photo agency and hence not going to be in my gallery... however, smaller, lower quality ones were found on a website dealing with daily events - I'm still not adding them to the gallery but I'm sure it'd be OK for you to view the montage I made.
15 caps from Pieces of April added - thank you so much to Emma ~ who has capped the entire movie and gave me permission to use some of her caps in my gallery. This entire movie and screencaps from other movies, TV and much more can be found at her site.
Added nine photo's; eight from The Sundance Film Festival; Patti at different events or out and about there over the years, and one publicity shot for Pieces of April - this was also taken at a Sundance, but as it's publicity for a movie, that goes into a different section...
Added two high res photo's from the Directors Guild of America Awards. Also added a very brief clip from it which comes courtesy of The Clooney Network
One again, a thousand thank-you's to Patti's friend, Patricia Casby, for sending me four photo's she took of Patti backstage after a performance by 'The Disappointments', a band featuring Patti's significant other, Campbell Scott on drums and vocals. Four photo's added from the Women in Hollywood Gala.
Well, The Woods did pretty well at its recent screening at The Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival, coming 9th out of 45 in the audience poll. Fingers crossed this helps it get seen elsewhere too!

All the King's Men will be released nationally on September 22nd - let's hope this time the planned release date isn't put back again!
16 caps from Good Night and Good Luck added to the gallery - thank you so much Jennifer ~ she has capped the entire movie and a link to that can be found in my credits and thanks section.
I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive via ebay and have a broken scanner, but thanks to Andrea scanning it for me, a recent interview from the April edition of Town&Country is now added to the interviews section. No idea how widely they will be shown, but with a tough election coming up for her mother, Patti has cut some commercials highlighting her mother record in office.
Lots of news today so I am splitting this update into three parts; Amazing news, bad news and vaguely hopeful news!
Amazing News
Recall my recent mention of Patricia's namesake friend discovering this site - well not only did she send me those wonderful photo's but she alerted Patti to the fact that this place existed and has sent me some lovely e-mails -- and then Patti herself somehow found the time between filming to view it -- and on Saturday she called me to say thank you -- yes, you read that right!! Needless to say, I am still feeling pretty overwhelmed and that's an understatment!! It's very gratifying to know that someone who you admire so much is also such a lovely person in real life... ladies, I know you'll get to read this in due course so I just want to publicly declare my gratitude for your kindness and say a big thank you to you both!! A big plus is that I now have her agents assistant details so should be able to provide faster and more accurate info on movie projects, etc...
Bad News
United Artists have now removed "The Woods" from its 2006 planned releases, so it's already slim slate has alas shrunk even more - quite why Sony, who took over the MGM/UA company over seem to have it in for this film, I don't know..... !

Nothing to update except some new photo's but I am STILL waiting to hear back from my hosting company about the coppermine problem - I think all the staff are off for an extended Christmas break! The forum has people reporting some strange things going on with their sites, so looks like I just have to wait for someone to get back to me. Happy Holidays everyone....

And if you want a bigger view of the poster, it's Here
Three new photo's added from The Venice Film Festival. The trailer for All the King's Men has been removed from the Sony Lounge, which I suppose is unsurprising now the movie is going to be so delayed -- so I have removed the now void link from the multimedia section -- hope you all got to see it in time!
Bad news - All the King's Men has been put back, and looking likely not to now be shown until this time next year! Details Here and Here. DONATE TO THE HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF AND I'LL MAKE YOU EXCLUSIVE ICONS...
I'm sure all our thoughts are with those in New Orleans and Patricia must be devastated at what has happened to her city! The Red Cross is but one of many charities doing what they can - if anyone would like to donate to any charity they support that is giving aid to New Orleans, then I would be happy to make you some icons - the pictures you send me don't have to be of Patti, they can be of anyone or anything you like..... but if you want them of her, these will be made exclusively for you and won't go up on this site.
